The Carmelite motto:
"The motto of the Carmelite Order is: “Zelo zelatus sum pro Domino Deo exercituum.” This powerful expression is a direct quote of the words of Elijah from the First Book of Kings, 19:10: “With zeal have I been zealous for the Lord God of Hosts.”I struggled with this at first, as I recalled being taught that Latin lacked the letter 'z'. Not entirely so.
