The last of the sunny-ish weather led us back to
Montacute House to walk the gardens. We were promised a "Ten minute guide to 1,000 years of history" but Matt, the NT expert, failed to show so we pottered off to explore those parts of the garden and estate which we've ignored on previous visits.
